Introduction


Ceramic lining clad steel pipe is the new cladding material of advanced intermational level successfully developed in national high-tech”863”plan and first industrialized. This pipe is composed of ceramic,transit layer and steel from inside to outside, having good all round properties of corrosion resistant,wear-resistant,high tempera-ture resistant and high strength,high toughness,high mechanical impact and thermal impact proof while it still can be processed by machining,grounding and welding etc¡£

It is mainly used as grindable granule and corrosives in electric power, metallurgy, mining, coal, and chemical industry when transporting sandstone, coal fines, clinker, and aluminum liquid,etc.

It is the ideal wearable and corrosion resistant engineering pipeline, with wear resistance 15 times higher than common steel pipe, smooth inner surface, and favorable liquor resistance.

 
The composite pipe is composed of three layers: ceramic, intermediate, and steel layers.
 
The ceramic layer is formed by molten alumina at a temperature above 2500¡æ. The molten alumina produced from the reaction Fe2O3+2Al=2Fe+Al2O3 spreads on the inside wall of the steel pipe under the influence of a centrifugal force, then solidifies, so the ceramic layer has high density and smooth surface and bonds to the steel pipe.
